Blessing of the Trick-or-Treaters

River of Hope, Hutchinson, an ELCA outreach congregation, invites the community to share in a special worship event starting at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31 at Vineyard United Methodist Church.

Children are invited to come in costume with their treat bag or pail. During the service there will be a “Blessing of the trick or treaters.”

The service will also include attention given to the protestant Reformation Sunday with a message from Martin Luther (played by Rev. Larry Strenge).

After the worship service which includes communion, the children will receive treats and everyone is invited to our Hot Dog Supper.

River of Hope is a community of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) where all are welcome. Vineyard United Methodist Church is located at 1395 South Grade Road.
